There is an old saying that says, "What you lose on the roundabout you gain on the swings" and that can be no truer than for CHEFS DE PARTIE that want to work at Michelin Star level.

As a CHEF DE PARTIE at Michelin Star level you may lose a few pounds in salary now but you will end up being heavilly rewarded later on and have you ever wondered why a lot of M Star chefs stay in their positions sometimes for years? It is simple, it is called job satisfaction which is what you get when a real passion becomes your profession too.

The successful CHEF DE PARTIE will be part of a select group of 8 chefs serving up to 40 covers.

Salary for the successful Chef de Partie is set at £15k plus all meals on duty. You will be working 5 out of 7 splits. This is a live out position.

Naturally you will need previous 3AAR or Michelin Star experience or have worked at a more senior level and be prepared to step back in order to move forward which is exactly what the current Michelin Starred Chef did, originally losing several thousands of pounds. A wise move that he has never regretted.
